Course Structure

At the Introductory Class you will Experience some of the Practices for Level 1 and hear a little about Qigong.
You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and to meet and share with some of the people currently in the OpenSky Qigong Program.
Free introductory Classes are held at most locations each month.

2 day weekend Workshop (16 hours)
Weekly Classes (count as 2 hours each)
Optional online Classes and Classes by Appointment (count as 2 hours each)
Minimum of 3 months personal Qigong Practice
A minimum of 36 hours attendance at Level 1 is required to enrol in Level 2
The attendance hours may be made up of all Workshop or all Class hours or a combination of both
Attendance credit for Training in allied fields may be given at the discretion of the OpenSky Qigong Program Facilitator
It is possible to continue in Level 1 on an ongoing basis

3 day Workshop (Friday to Sunday) (24 hours)
Weekly Classes (count as 2 hours each)
Minimum of 3 months further personal Qigong Practice
A minimum of 36 hours Level 2 Instruction is required to enrol in Level 3
The attendance hours may be made up of all Workshop or all Class hours or a combination of both
Attendance credit for Training in allied fields may be given at the discretion of the OpenSky Qigong Program Facilitator
It is possible to continue in Level 2 on an ongoing basis

3 day Workshop (Friday to Sunday) (24 hours)
A 3 day residential Retreat (36 hours)
Weekly Classes (count as 2 hours each)
Assisting at Level 1 and 2 Workshops and Classes is highly recommended (and counts for attendance requirements)
Minimum of 6 months further personal Qigong Practice
A minimum of 72 hours Level 3 Instruction is required to complete the attendance requirements for Level 3
The attendance hours may be made up of all Workshop and Retreat or all Class hours or a combination of any
Attendance credits for Training in allied fields may be given at the discretion of the OpenSky Qigong Program Facilitator

An (accredited) OpenSky Qigong Facilitator has completed the attendance requirements for Levels 1 to 3 and must have attended a minimum of one Workshop at each Level. It is also highly recommended to have attended a Level 3 Retreat
Occasional Workshops and annual residential Retreats are offered for ongoing Instruction
Qigong Facilitators attend Level 1, 2 and 3 Retreats, Workshops and Classes as Assistants for ongoing Training in Facilitating groups and in Mentoring and Support of individuals

An accredited OpenSky Qigong Facilitator may offer to Facilitate a Level 1 and/or Level 2 OpenSky Qigong Class. They will be Mentored and Supported to do so
OpenSky Qigong Class Facilitators are accredited for 12 months
For ongoing accreditation OpenSky Qigong Class Facilitators are required to demonstrate a minimum of 50 hours per year ongoing Development
This may include the hours Facilitating their own Class or attending Level 1, 2 or 3 Workshops, Classes and/or Retreats
This may also include Experience or Training in an allied field

An accredited OpenSky Qigong Facilitator may offer to Mentor and support individuals on a personal basis to learn OpenSky Qigong Practices. They will be Mentored and Supported to do so
OpenSky Qigong Personal Facilitators are accredited for 12 months
For ongoing accreditation OpenSky Qigong Personal Facilitators are required to demonstrate a minimum of 50 hours per year ongoing personal or professional Development
This may include the hours Facilitating their own Class or attending Level 1, 2 or 3 Workshops, Classes and/or Retreats or work or study in an allied field
